A Wellness Journey - Come along with me

I am writing the first blog post of many in hopes that I can be a guide or resource for others and encourage the importance of living a life of wellness.

Many years ago: "Bad stuff happens to good people, all of the time. But at some point you have to make a decision of who you're going to be and what you're going to do with it". My Dad said this to me in reference to someone we knew. By the way, I'm not talking about a flat tire or a broken glass, but the real big stuff that matters. The stuff that either breaks us or makes us.

It's not that I didn't understand him but I don't think I was really hearing him. In fact, I'd personally been through enough really bad stuff prior to that, but I don't think I was quite ready to know what I was doing with it all.

The last four years: Bad stuff happened, really bad stuff, life threatening stuff. I lost my 52 year old husband and my Dad both to cancer, three and a half years apart.

So who am I going to be and what am I going to do with this?

Today: I am a strong and determined wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I am going to make a difference.

It was time for me to change to my personally curated diet and fitness regimen to a 'wellness lifestyle'. I didn't need to lose weight but I needed a nutrition and exercise check. Somehow I stumbled upon the Faster Way to Fat Loss and it is exactly what I was hoping it would be, and more. I will share my FWTFL journey with you and hope you come along with me.

Skincare and makeup was never a second thought when it came to wellness until my daughter wrote a post about why she switched to Beautycounter's clean products. She too, decided to do something with what our family experienced. She showed me there's another aspect of wellness than I had ever thought of. I started using clean beauty products. I'll be here for you sharing everything I learn with you.
